Going beyond regulatory obligations for biodiversity.
For several years, SNC MCA has been taking action for better consideration of biodiversity in its quarry activities, going beyond mere regulatory obligations.
- Dust control – truck covering, track watering, plant suction
- Water management – settling ponds, discharge control
- Biodiversity – fauna/flora inventories, partnership with the LPO
- Rehabilitation – progressive restoration of operated sites
Low-carbon transport
A B100 biofuel fleet.
MCA has converted its fleet of 200 vehicles to B100 biofuel, significantly reducing CO2 emissions related to aggregate transport.
This approach is part of our overall commitment to a more environmentally friendly activity.
Safety

ISO 45001
Our occupational health and safety management system is ISO 45001 certified.
Continuous training
All our employees are trained on the specific risks of quarry activity: certifications, authorisations, first aid.

Each intervention is the subject of a prevention plan. Risk analyses and regular audits on all our sites.
