Pupils in the quarry
On 13 and 14 June 2022, our Sassey-sur-Meuse quarry was a place of discovery for the Year 2 and Year 3 pupils of the Albert Toussaint school of Stenay, who came to observe birds, insects and amphibians!
Supervised by their teachers and two representatives of the quarry, the children were able to benefit from the explanations of the members of the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) as well as two members of the CPIE Meuse (Permanent Centre for Environmental Initiatives), who were working under the Natura 2000 mission.
